Hudson Mohawk
Section 0200 Business Plan for 2009-10
During
September, 2009, ASQ Hudson Mohawk Section Leadership conducted a Strategic
Planning Session. As explained in
our SMP submission for 2008-09, our strategic direction is changing based on our
current environment.
Key
Strategic Challenges were identified for 2009-10:
Retain
membership
Strategies
were identified for 2009-10 to address those challenges:
Program: Provide a robust program of professional development presentations built on ASQ’s Body of Knowledge, applied to opportunities in the performance excellence arena.
Leadership: Accomplish effective leadership and succession planning,
Network: Conduct public seminars that provide cross sector networking opportunities, extending ASQ’s reach into health care, education, and other non traditional sectors.
Market
Position: Increase ASQ’s presence in the community.
Within each of these strategies, ten initial tactics have been developed. Based on real time results, re-planning will be conducted throughout the Section year. Some tactics may be canceled or changed, and additional tactics may be added, as a result of re-planning. For our Business Plan completion assessment at the end of the Section year, we will continue to use the established measure of completion of 75% of the overall tactical plan to gauge our results.
The
ten initial tactics, with strategic linkage, are presented below:
