The University of New Hampshire is offering a one-day conference on Life Cycle Assessment (Competing in the Green Marketplace). In addition to  presentations about conducting LCAs, the conference will demonstrate new LCA Open Source software by Earthster.

The conference will be held on May 21, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel in  Portsmouth, NH, and will be presented by LCA nationally prominent  experts, Kevin Gardner, Greg Norris, and Catherine Benoit. The guest  luncheon speaker will be Nancy Hirshberg, VP of Natural Resources at  Stonyfield Farm.

Executive Board Elections

As part of the DPM’s scheduled for 2010 the Audit Chair (Sal Ganino) will be recruiting for candidates to join the Executive Board leadership team.  In early 2010 we (the Section Membership) will be electing our Executive Board leadership team for the 2010/2011 season. The executive board team has been the same group of individuals for several years now, and is in need of new blood to revitalize the groups creative juices.  Below is a link to the job description and qualifications for several executive board positions.  Please take a look at them and see if any of the positions utilize your experience or stimulate your interest, and if so, please consider joining the team.
